About Me

I am a scientist in the Fermilab Theory Division. Most of my time is spent on numerical simulations for the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, one of the greatest scientific experiments every built.

📚 My Research
… focuses on detailed and precise computations for particle collisions at the highest energies attainable in man-made experiments. Due to the large available phase space, a connection to theory can only be achieved with the help of advanced algorithms and involved phenomenological models, which are combined in computer simulations called multi-purpose event generators. They are the main workhorses for particle physics phenomenology, used to analyze current experimental data, to reinterpret data based on improved theory, and to plan future experiments.
